Past Professional Experience

Events Intern

  • During my remote internship with Rafanelli Events, I attended weekly masterclasses led by top event professionals, gaining valuable insight into the luxury event planning industry. I conducted extensive research on more than 50 premier New York City wedding and event venues, organizing key details into a comprehensive spreadsheet to support the planning process. For requested venues, I also developed individualized PowerPoint presentations that highlighted important factors for client consideration. In addition, I created a wedding design concept deck and refined it based on professional feedback, strengthening both my creative and presentation skills. Through this experience, I gained hands-on exposure to high-end event planning while contributing creative ideas and logistical perspectives to luxury projects.

Sales Intern

I was a sales intern at Old Edwards Inn and Spa in their weddings and special events department. I worked directly alongside the sales team, where I gained proficiency in Photoshop and worked reformatting past menus. I also worked on their social media creating posts and content for their potential and past clients

Head of Recruitment

My sorority, Alpha Xi Delta, granted me the opportunity to serve as their head of recruitment where I worked with my team to orchesteate an incredible recruitment. We custom designed each room in the house and strategically had our members post content on social media during the week to raise awareness of our participation for the first time. 

Sales Associate

I worked at a local Athens boutique, Cheeky Peach, where I styled each customer for their individual needs. I collaborated with my team to meet the sales goals for the week and strategically reformat the layout tables weekly to stay relevant with what clothes the store had to offer.

Sales Associate

I worked at Highland Hiker, a hiking store in Highlands, NC. There, I learned the benefits of each individual product to determine which best fit a customer’s needs, and collaborated with team members to achieve store sales targets and goals. I also participated in inventory management activities, including receiving, stocking, and conducting inventory counts, while organizing display tables and changing them weekly to feature new products in a visually appealing way.

Social Media Specialist

I worked with an Athens boutique, Entourage, to photograph and model the store inventory for both their social media platforms and their website. I also had the opportunity to work with social media influencers around the country for the store's social media marketing component
